Greyhounds make great  "second dogs" in homes which already have a resident dog...

Sometimes an existing dog would benefit from the company of a new dog in the house. Greyhounds are gentle, non-aggressive and non-territorial so they make ideal second dogs in a home where there is already a dog.

Could you adopt or foster two hounds?

We always have established pairs of dogs waiting for a new home together, and its always harder to find a new home for two, so these dogs always wait longer.  Greyhounds usually love to be with another hound for company as they are used to not being on their own. Could you consider having a pair, or adopting or fostering a second one if you have one already?
